Project Overview:
Closed as a result of the 2023 Cyclone Gabrielle, Tokomaru Bay School received a much-needed redevelopment to its property to reopen its doors to students.
Fencemaster was engaged by the main contractor (Currie Construction) to deliver the whole school boundary fencing, to comply with the current Ministry of Education Fencing Guidelines.
The work was completed in 2 stages, with our assigned installation team staying locally for their portions of work. Firstly, the team installed all posts and mowing strip, taking measurements for the factory team to manufacture the fencing. They then subsequently returned to site to install all panels and gates.
The school has now reopened, following an official opening ceremony with the Ministry of Education on 09/06/2025, with all stakeholders delighted in the result.
